June 6, 2017 - January 8, 2018, 16 Selections from The Wall Unit Series, Brooklyn Arts Council, Brooklyn, NY, an installation of 16 sculptures by Annette Rusin.

2016:

October 16, 2016 - January 15, 2017: Points of Departure, John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Annette Rusin will feature a work from her Cabana Club Series in this exhibition where artists from around the world submitted original works responding to the idea of places of escape—whether that was a place in their imaginations or a physical place on a map. On view are dozens of works by established and emerging artists.

June 30 - August 5: Small Works, Trestle Gallery, Brooklyn, NY, group exhibition of small works under 12 inches in size - guest curated by Heather Darcy Bhandari and Katerina Lanfranco, chief curator Trestle Gallery. October 4 - November 2: Soliloquy, Concepto Hudson, Hudson, NY, a group exhibition curated by Kiyoshi Ike. Opening Reception Saturday, October 4th, 6:00pm - 8:00pm. View Press Release here. Rusin will feature 12 pieces from her Wall Unit Series and 2 drawings.

September 27 - 28: DUMBO Arts Festival Open Studios, Noon - 6pm. Last chance to catch me in DUMBO! Our lease is not being renewed so this is it folks!

September 3 - September 13: Synthetic Zero, Bronx Art Space, Bronx, NY , a group exhbition curated by Mitsu Hadeishi featuring a mix of video, installation, and sculpture. Rusin will exhibit Freeze-Up, a new sculpture and selected works from her Wall Unit Series. Opening Reception Wednesday September 3rd 6 - 9pm and Saturday September 13th Closing Reception 3:30 - 6:30pm


2013:

September 3 - December 24, 2013: Hair, Paul Robeson Galleries, Rutgers University, Newark, NJ, curated by Anonda Bell, group exhibition exploring ideas about hair in many ways, including cultural, anthropological, historical and physical. Opening Reception: Thursday September 12, 5 - 7pm. Invitation for the exhibition

October 16 - November 29: A Fine Line: Contemporary Drawing, Claypool-Young Art Gallery, Morehead State University, Morehead, KY, group exhibition curated by Anne Harris focusing on all translations of current drawing practice in line oriented artwork. Opening Reception: Wednesday October 16, 5-7pm, Anne Harris lecture will take place after the reception from 7-8pm

July 12 - September 22: The 23rd Drawing Show: Drawing Connections, a group exhibition curated by James Hull at the Boston Center for the Arts. Opening Reception Friday July 12 , 6-8pm, Curator's Talk Saturday September 14, 2013 at 1pm.

July 22, 2013: NURTUREart published The Indifference of Wisdom Exhibition Catalog.

2012:

November 2012: Synthetic Zero, Bronx Art Space, Bronx, NY , a group exhbition curated by Mitsu Hadeishi and Jo Q. Nelson featuring a mix of video, installation, and sculpture. Rusin had a large scuplture made from sheet rock, titled "Full Service Station" on exhibit.

November 11, Nurture Art Benefit, a juried group exhbition to support Nurture Art. Rusin's work was selected to be included in the benefit by Jurors: Kianga Ellis, Charlotta Kotik, Lawrence Rinder, and Herb Tam

GO Brooklyn Open Studio Weekend, Saturday September 8th and Sunday September 9th. Annette Rusin and Mark Bischel created "Model Home" a self-curated, project - their first collaboration as Newlyweds!

November 2 - 27, 2011, Privacy Please!, A.I.R. Gallery, Brooklyn, NY
Annette Rusin organized and co-curated this juried, group exhibition with guest curator, Erin Riley-Lopez. It featured 14 women artists who explore beauty and grooming rituals in their artwork.

May 3 - June 30, 2011, Sofia International Paper Biennial, Sofia, Bulgaria
An international exhibition that featured a large-scale work on vellum paper curated by Dr. Thalia Vrachopoulos and Daniela Todorova.
